In preparation for the World Championship in Franciacorta, the second round of the WSK Super Master Series was a full house in the OK category with 71 participants. The weather was nice and dry at 9°.
Session 1
Louis Iglesias (CRG/Iame) was in 1st position on the fifth lap ahead of Jimmy Helias (Tony Kart/Vortex). René Lammers (Parolin/TM) then took the lead in 46’385. Iglesias finished 2nd by 83 thousandths for his first international appearance at this level. Helias was 3rd by 95 thousandths, then Thomas Strauven (LN/Vortex) 4th followed by Dante Vinci (LN/Vortex). Arthur Poulain (Tony Kart/Vortex) was 11th and Jules Caranta (Energy/TM) 14th, while Nathan Tye (Sodi/TM) finished 16th.
Session 2
Guillaume Bouzar (Tony Kart/Vortex) led on the second and third laps against Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart/Vortex). Andréa Dupé (Sodi/TM) took over at the top of the ranking for a moment, but was quickly replaced by Enzo Tarnvanichkul (KR/Iame). The Junior World Champion finished in the lead with a time of 46”637, a hundredth faster than Kiano Blum (KR/Iame). Bouzar was close behind in 3rd ahead of Sabin Stroescu (Tony Kart/Vortex), Shimo Zhang (KR/Iame) and Coluccio in sixth. Dupé finished 9th and Adam Hideg (Sodi/TM) 11th.
Session 3
David Walther (Tony Kart/Vortex) led the third group for a long time ahead of Emanuel Olivieri (IPK/TM) before confirming his pole position with 46”314. Kirill Kutskov (Birel ART/TM) was 2nd by 62 thousandths, Olivieri was 3rd ahead of Joe Turney (KR/Iame) and James Egozi (Tony Kart/Vortex) in 5th. Maxens Verbrugge (Birel ART/TM) secured a good 7th place.
